Michael is a junior from Plano, Texas, majoring in History with a supplementary major in Medieval Studies. Michael resides in Pangborn Hall, on the same floor as Chaplain Fr. Ching and Trustee Brenden Quirk. As Grand Knight, he serves as the council’s chief executive, providing leadership and ensuring that the council’s many parts operate smoothly.
Deputy Grand Knight
A junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Buddy is from Houston, Texas, and lives in Alumni Hall. He previously served as Faith Events Coordinator. As Deputy Grand Knight, Buddy oversees special projects and helps the Grand Knight with day-to-day tasks. Buddy also serves as the President of the Children of Mary.
A sophomore from the great state of Kansas, Andrew is a resident of Dillon Hall. As Treasurer, Andrew is responsible for keeping track of council finances with the oversight of the Financial Secretary.
Joseph is a sophomore living in Keough Hall. As Inside Guard, he coordinates the council’s religious activities in conjunction with Fr. Brian Ching, CSC.
A sophomore from Los Angeles, California, John is majoring in Finance and Political Science and lives in Morrissey Manor. As Outside Guard, he is responsible for coordinating events with Notre Dame clubs and keeping in touch with the council's off-campus partners.
Finn is a sophomore residing in Sorin Hall. He previously served as the Council's interim Outside Guard. As Recorder, Finn is responsible for keeping the minutes of General Business Meetings and creating the 'Knights Weekly' newsletter.
Brenden Quirk, PGK
A senior from the great state of Kentucky, Brenden served as the Grand Knight of Council 1477 in 2021, and Recorder from 2020-2021. He is majoring in Medieval Studies.

Prof. Michael Pries
The College of Arts and Letter's Associate Dean for the Social Sciences and a popular economics professor, Dean Pries is focuses his research and teaching on macroeconomic labor markets and financial economics. A Notre Dame alumnus, Dean Pries provides oversight over the council's finances and serves as the council's faculty adviser with Notre Dame.
K.J. Martijn Cremers is the Martin J. Gillen Dean and the Bernard J. Hank Professor of Finance at ND's Mendoza College of Business. His research and teaching areas are investment management, corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate law, business ethics and Catholic social thought. He serves as a trustee helping govern and advise the council. The council's former Financial Secretary, Dean Cremers frequently stops by Steak Sales to cheer members on.
Fr. Brian Ching, CSC
A Holy Cross priest and a double Domer, Fr. Brian serves as the Rector of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the Priest-in-Residence of Pangborn Hall. Fr. Brian provides spiritual guidance for the council, helping to keep the Sacraments and prayer at the heart of the council's work. An Alumni of Holy Cross College and Council #1477, Andrew Weiss is a member of the Supreme Knight's Club for Field Agents and the Million Dollar Roundtable – the premiere association of financial professionals. He is responsible for providing guidance on the Financial and Fraternal Benefits of membership in the Knights of Columbus to its members.
